Niseko Village

All major Niseko shuttle operators stop directly at the Hilton Niseko Village and Green Leaf forecourts, so you don't need to transfer in Hirafu. Adult fare around ¥6,000 one-way (¥10,000 return), child half-price. Direct services run daily December 2 – March 31. Book 3+ days ahead in late-December and Chinese New Year peaks.

The free Niseko United Shuttle runs every 20–60 minutes between Hirafu, Niseko Village, and Annupuri base lifts during the ski season — included with any All Mountain Pass. Niseko Village is the central stop on the loop, so it's the easiest base for guests planning to ski multiple resorts each day.

The Hilton sits directly at the foot of the Niseko Village Gondola — true ski-in/ski-out for the whole property. 506 rooms makes it the largest hotel in Niseko United, with two onsen, six restaurants, an outdoor heated pool, and a ski/board rental in-house. Best value among the village's four hotels.

Green Leaf is the design-led sister to the Hilton — same gondola access, smaller footprint, contemporary Hokkaido aesthetic. The on-site Sushi Nagi and Kabuki teppanyaki rooms are the village's premium dining anchors.

Kasara is a row of just eight private townhouses (3 bedrooms, full kitchen, in-suite onsen) at the gondola base. Personal butler service handles dining bookings, ski valet, and chef-at-home dinners. Best for families or two couples sharing a villa.

Hinode Hills is the newest premium product in Niseko Village — Small Luxury Hotels of the World member, with Mt Yotei views from every room and a 26-metre infinity onsen. Studio to 4-bedroom apartments. Ski-in via the Niseko Village Gondola, two minutes' walk from the base.

2025–26 pricing: All Mountain 1-day adult ranges from ¥7,500 (early/spring) to ~¥9,800 (regular) and surges in late-December and Chinese New Year peak windows. Single-resort Niseko Village day passes run ¥6,800–7,500 — fine for a single day if you're not planning to use the inter-resort shuttle. Buy online via Niseko United or Klook for advance discounts.

Niseko Village Snow School (NVSS) operates out of the Hilton with English-speaking instructors and a kids' program built around the Hilton's slopeside Pure activity centre. NISS (Niseko International Snowsports School) operates across all four Niseko United resorts. Group lessons start around ¥10,000 for a half-day; private lessons run ¥40,000–80,000 per half-day.

The Niseko Village in-house rental at the Hilton is the most convenient option — same gondola, no transfer. Rhythm Japan and Niseko Sports offer free hotel delivery to Niseko Village if you want premium powder boards or boutique brands. Reserve online before flying for late-December and Chinese New Year peak — sizes sell out.

Niseko's lift-served terrain is gated — most of the best skiing requires either a guide or the avalanche knowledge to use the gate system safely. From the Niseko Village base, half-day guided programs into the side-country are easy to arrange the day before. Cat-skiing at Weiss and overnight side-country missions to Mt Yotei are upgrade options. Avalanche transceivers and skins included; expect ¥30,000–60,000 per person for a full guided day.
