Plan your trip
Hanazono is the smallest and quietest Niseko United resort, anchored by the Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono — the highest-end address in the area, with on-mountain dining at the Hanazono 308 base lodge.
Long-haul gateways and the cheapest domestic hops.
New Chitose is Hokkaido's main international gateway — direct flights from Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangkok, Seoul, Singapore.
Tokyo Haneda → Sapporo (CTS) ~1.5 hrs, multiple departures every hour on ANA, JAL, Air Do, Peach, and Jetstar.
Trains, shuttles, and rentals from the airport.
Park Hyatt and Hanazono operate private and scheduled CTS transfers — Hokkaido Resort Liner stops at the Park Hyatt forecourt.
Free Hanazono Loop shuttle links Hirafu Welcome Center to Hanazono 308 every 15–30 min during the ski season.
Hand-picked stays across the resort's two zones.
Hanazono is overwhelmingly defined by the Park Hyatt — limited additional condo and lodge options nearby.
Slope-side 5-star flagship — 100 rooms, suites, residences, and penthouses. Onsen, signature restaurants, ski concierge.
Deluxe serviced apartments next to the Park Hyatt — full kitchens, 1- to 4-bedroom layouts, free shuttle to Hanazono base.
Boutique lodge near the Hanazono base — small operator, English-speaking team, ski concierge.
Pass, lessons, gear, and guides for powder days.
All four Niseko resorts on one pass — essential for Hanazono guests since the Hanazono-only ticket misses the Hirafu interconnect.
NISS HQ is at Hanazono 308 — the largest English-speaking school in Niseko, with all-resort access.
Rhythm and Niseko Sports deliver to Hanazono hotels; on-mountain rental at Hanazono 308 covers same-day fixes.
Hanazono Powder Guides (in-house) plus Black Diamond, NAC, Whiteroom run from Hanazono base.
Onsen soaks and rest-day excursions nearby.
Hanazono Tubing, Mountain Carving, snowmobile tours, and the on-site Park Hyatt spa for non-skiing days.
Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono's onsen is guests-only; Yukoro and Goshiki Onsen are 15–25 min by car.
Cover, connectivity, and bag forwarding before you fly.
Activate before you fly. ~$10–15 for 7 days vs $35–60 for pocket WiFi. Coverage is strong across Niseko United.

destination resort
A quieter corner of Niseko United, anchored by two ski-in ski-out hotels and the same consistent powder that draws the world to Mt Annupuri.

powder-focused
The westernmost face of Mt Annupuri — mellower lifts, easier access to the gate-managed backcountry, and noticeably thinner crowds than Hirafu.

powder-focused
An independent boutique mountain at the south end of the Niseko valley — no lift ticket interchange, far fewer skiers, and some of the best sidecountry in the area.
